Psychedelic cat's eyes, and the occasional ear--sleepy or wary or happy or ready for war--bright-eyed or dim--all these images are seriously bright, and I can imagine a small child inspired to splash paint on the page of their own cat's eye drawings, or a sleepy parents awakening to "What's this cat thinking?" The pictures have a funky paint-splashed quality, built from photos of the author's own cats, and it's pleasing to imagine the characters behind these eyes. A book with "no purpose other than to entertain you and make you smile," it did make me smile. I like cats.Disclosure: The ebook was free and my human eyes were tired, so I thought I'd try it out.

I got this (free) book thinking it would be more artistic and photography based, but it's just like the cover... over and over and over. Lot's of psychedelic colors and some abstract stretching of cell phone quality pics. I'm glad I didn't pay for it. If you're someone who is obsessed with cats this book may be for you, but it really was not a great fit for me.
As someone that appreciates art and enjoys critters... I can see where this book could appeal to a cat lover. The Funky colors and eyes of cats are interesting and make me think of the 60's and hippies.
To be honest, this style of art and that many cats... Aren't really my thing. Even so, the book was worth a look and a good way to broaden my art experience. You never know when something different will strike a cord.
An entertaining fun book about "nothing in particular" turns out to be quite the gem!!
It takes a specific person to see the beauty of these photographs of three cats and the coloration. A fun picture book that will bring smiles.
